Send us your AlphaHound and we’ll upgrade it for you at no extra cost- just pay shipping.
Why the price increase? The Gamma mod kit was priced at a complementary price of $140 when we first released it as customers with the A/AB/AB+ did not have the option to purchase an AB+G. Now with AB+G available for order there is non negligible costs when a user purchases an AB+ with a Gamma Mod separately. Mainly this requires doubling multiple components(chassis,OLED display, PCB, Packaging). As the price of the gamma mod was on sale at $140 and the current AB+ price at $389 making it the same price as an AB+G but having the added cost of the extra unnecessary components compared to a single AB+G order. Coinciding with the prolonged burden of tariffs makes the sale price unsustainable. Sorry for the inconvenience but in order for us to make great products for radiation detection we need to stay in the green. (Those who have already purchased an AlphaHound before 6/14/25 can receive an email with a discount code by filling out a contact form).
